Our new Snapper I allows customers to create a product with little or no hardware design. A cross between a System Module and a Single Board Computer, Snapper I has available connections for many common peripherals built into it, yet is small enough to fit in a palm-top device.

Based around the ARM922T, this versatile microcontroller sub-system is suited to miriad applications. Memory consists of 64 MB of high-performance SDRAM and up to 512 MB of NAND flash with boot capability.

Snapper I compliments the on-chip peripherals with industry-standard 10/100 Mbit ethernet, USB 2, high-end LCD controller, stereo audio and touch-screen controller.

A complete Linux kernel v2.6 port with an example application is provided with all drivers including accelerated video, ethernet and flash filing system.

Snapper I is smaller than a credit card and makes most connections available on a high-density connector on one edge. Pricing from around US$149
