FDI specializes in embedded design and development with a focus on Design-For-Test (DFT) and Design-For-Manufacturing (DFM). We are an integrated team of Engineers and Business Professionals who have been implementing projects together since 1989 and know how to do it right. From conceptual design on a new product idea to manufacturing or cost enhancements on an existing product, FDI can assist in any or all phases of your project. FDI can also build your board level or box level product in prototype quantities all the way to high volume production. FDI will manage all of the of the design and production details and allow you to focus on other critical aspects of your product introduction.

Future Designs, Inc. was founded in 1989 by a core group of dedicated engineers who remain an integral part of the company today. Our staff currently consists of a management team, which directs the day-to-day operations of the company, a core engineering team, and a team of long-term design associates. Our management team has a diverse background covering Engineering, Manufacturing and High Tech Business practices and possesses a unique ability to mesh key ingredients from all these business areas. Our use of design associates is also critical to FDI’s strategy as they provide a rich pool of technical talent that can be tapped as needed.

FDI also offers total Supply Chain Management (SCM) for your product. We can build and deliver your product to your facility, or to your end-user, from prototype quantities to high volume requirements. FDI offers in house support for quick turn prototypes and low volume production. We also have existing relationships with a number of local and regional Contract Equipment Manufacturers (CEM) that can be utilized for larger volumes.
