The key technology in Eltechs solution is an application level binary translator with several levels of optimization for “cold” and “hot” regions of code. It allows running traditional software on top of ARM servers and provides highest performance. Another noteworthy advantage of Eltechs solution is a use of paralleling compilation process technology along with storing translations in volatile memory resulting in a dramatical decrease in overheads of “cold start”. Use of these approaches will allow up to 80% performance comparing to native ARM code or to put it another way only 20% overhead.

MCST team has 200+ man-years experience in developing binary translators. MCST team has 46 scientific articles concerning binary translation and series of USA patents.
