Company Description

Digitalaria is a venture company that researches and develops optimized multimedia software for various digital appliances including cellular phones. Having already been recognized in the global state-of-the-art technology competition, our firm provides outstanding technologies and mobile services through the business partnerships with digital terminal manufacturers such as Samsung, telecommunication operators such as SK Telecom, and global IT corporation such as Access.
For its initial product, Digitalaria developed Embedded 2D Vector Graphic Engine called MobileFlash™ for the first time in the world in the year 2001. Terminals installed with MobileFlash™ can run animation content based on Vector Graphic as same as on the Web. In the year 2002, our solution was commercially used for the very first time and since then it was adopted as Samsung Electronic’s GUI (Graphic User Interface) middleware of Anycall cell phone and was installed throughout all Anycall cell phones in the domestic market. Currently it has been installed to more than 300 models and to more than 70 million cell phones.
We provided the 2nd generation technology called FXUI™ beginning from year 2008 as GUI framework to Samsung’s “Haptic phone” and to other terminals targeted overseas. FXUI™ is an innovative GUI framework for the development of visually dynamic and intuitive GUI that leaps over the limitations of static and standardized embedded GUI from before.
Since the importance of GUI as the factor of distinction among products is becoming more and more emphasized, it is today’s trend that the range of products using Vector Graphic GUI is increasing. The prospect is that in the upcoming 2~3 years almost all devices, if such that they are portable devices with LCD screens, will be installed with Vector Graphic Multimedia GUI platform, and therefore Digitalaria’s challenges and accomplishments will continue.
