DVSI is the owner and developer of the IMBE™, AMBE®, AMBE+™, and AMBE+2 speech coding algorithms which operate at low bit rates (2.0 - 9.6 kbps) and deliver high quality speech under demanding conditions. DVSI has considrable experience in implementing these algorithms on many different DSP platforms and ARM devices.

Numerous independent studies have shown that DVSI's vocoder technology can provide substantially the same quality as today's digital cellular systems at roughly half the bit rate.
