Canterbury Consulting Ltd provides a full product development service. We can handle your full product development activity, from initial concept to volume production including all electronic, software and industrial design as well as the manufacturing and compliance processes. When you contract us to develop your product, all IP produced is yours. We understand that other design consultancies retain ownership of source code and design files in order to ensure your repeat business. We disagree, we are of course very interested in repeat business, but prefer this to be our customers free choice. Where suitable we do re-use our customers IP for future projects. If we find a suitable re-use opportunity we approach our customer to arrange a license for the new customer. In this way the IP owner benefits from additional revenue and the new project benefits in a reduction of development time cost and risk.
