Company Description

Barco Silex is a micro-electronics design house belonging to the BARCO group and having offices in Louvain-La-Neuve, close to Brussels and in France in the area of Aix-en-Provence. Barco Silex offers a complete portofolio of high-end design services, from traditional ASIC/FPGA design to advanced SOC based system development, built upon years of SOC design experience in ARM processor devices, and board design.

Barco Silex design expertise is also made available through a wide portfolio of IP products, with a strong focus on high performance, image processing (MPEG-4, JPEG2000, DCI JPEG2000, JPEG...), encryption (AES, DES, Hashing, Elliptic Curves, RSA) and multi-Ports (AHB-AXI) memory controllers (SDRAM-Mobile-DDR-DDR2).
