The product development services include support for mobile internet devices, consumer electronics, and storage systems with specific ARM services consisting of software development and test covering firmware, device drivers, board support packages, operating systems, middleware and applications. Platform coverage includes Linux, Windows Mobile/Windows CE, Symbian and BlackBerry. Customers include Motorola, Microsoft and Intel, as well as numerous venture-backed start-ups. Augmentum is headquartered in both Silicon Valley and Shanghai, China, employing 1,350 worldwide with 1,300 in the Shanghai and Beijing development centers.
