Company Description

5V Technologies is a fabless semiconductor manufacturer of system on chip solutions (SoC) for broadband CPE systems such as VoIP TA, VoLAN, VoWLAN, IP Phone, VDSL IAD and the new 802.11n AP router systems. 5V Technologies can provide the entire reference design including firmware, SIP (for VoIP systems) and complete board design for quick time-to-market. A 5V Technologies SoC evaluation board is available for this purpose. The key feature of 5V Technologies’ ARM VoIP solutions is the extensive use of soft DSP technologies that allows the use of a wide variety of voice codecs, such as the new Internet-based IETF iLBC as well as the traditional G.7XX telecom codecs to support several voice channels. In the area of high performance CPE designs, the 5V Technologies’ 300MHz ARM SoC is able to provide a cost effective solution for the ever demanding high performance VDSL IAD and 802.11n (pre-n) WiFi applications. 5V Technologies’ high performance and cost effective systems have already found homes in several major CPE designs with new exciting applications being constantly added. Future SoC designs from 5V Technologies will enable even higher performance for voice, video and other rich multimedia and communication applications.
