In MathWorks release 2013b, MathWorks provides Embedded Coder support to generate code from MATLAB and Simulink that is optimized for ARM Cortex-M processors. The ARM optimized code offers up to a 10X execution performance improvement over ANSI/ISO C and supports MATLAB code, Simulink blocks, and DSP System Toolbox filters.

In addition, ARM provides an integration that automates build and execution of the ARM optimized code, generated from Simulink, for the ARM MDK package. Verification is automated using Processor-in-the-Loop (PIL) testing with Keil IDE.

Lastly, STMicroelectronics provides device driver blocks and board support for deploying a fully integrated executable that includes optimized ARM code generated by Simulink with on-board peripheral and timers for STM32F4 devices.

Highlights of the presentation include:
- ARM Cortex-M optimized code from MATLAB and Simulink
- Automated build and execution for ARM MDK
- PIL testing using Keil IDE
- Peripheral and timer blocks for STM32F4 devices

Please allow approximately 60 minutes to attend the presentation and Q&A session.

Product Focus:
- Embedded Coder®
- DSP System Toolbox™
